Escape the relentless flim flam of the accepted political order for a few hours in the congenial surroundings of Kings Heath’s Fletchers Bar with some of the UK’s sharpest protest singer songwriters. Loosen your imagination and absorb new ideas, alternative discourse and of course, incredible music. The Anti Capitalist Roadshow is a vibrant collection of left leaning musicians pushing back against the crushing effects of austerity including the prolific elder statesman of folk, the great Leon Rosselson, still poking into the hypocrisy and iniquity of the state, and fish fingers, after five decades.  A who’s who of musical legends and thinkers are performing including Robb Johnson, Frankie Armstrong and Reem Kelani. Maybe the future isn’t so bleak after all.
