International Dance Festival at various venues
Lots of FREE dance and movement for the kids to encounter and enjoy this weekend including Phone Box a feat of acrobatic and artistic beauty set to quirky beats all on the streets and Zoielogic Dance Theatre’s adventure in a customised 1980’s Ford Orion that seems to have a life of its own… Also see the festival hub in The Municipal Bank with its free interactive exhibition and events.

Art Soak, various venues around Selly Oak, Birmingham
Arts Forum Selly Oak brings a whole host of FREE and low-cost arts activities and explorations kicking off with story time at Selly oak library on Friday and including the wonderland of Magical Lands & Enchanted Places at Selly Manor (see separate feature here), a Shadow puppets workshop for 4-8yr olds, Relaxed Crafts with the super stylish The socials craft collective and for the real sophisti-kittens there’s even some Opera.
