Picture yourself on a beach in Jamaica, the Bahamas, Kokomo – wherever – tropical drink melting in your hand, turquoise sea dappled in orange sunlight… Now imagine the same scene with Afrobeats, Latin, house, broken beat and bass music disturbing the peace (in the best possible way!). This is the essence of Tropical Soundclash, a night taking place a fair few miles from Jamaica at the Hare and Hounds in Kings Heath. On selection duties Anthony Dennis joins resident DJ Sam Redmore, while live percussion will be provided by the Mighty Magoo. Get your lilos blown up and ready for this one.
