Arts: Digbeth First Friday at Various venues
Has it really been a month since the last bout of cutting edge artistic flair in the city’s beating cultural heart? Highlights this time include a thrilling and mischievous multimedia collaboration between Dinosaur Kilby and Kühle Wampe, Painter, Sculptor, Poet: Part Two at Stryx. Eastside Projects celebrate their tenth birthday with the launch of two new exhibitions, ‘This is the Gallery and the Gallery is Many Things X’ and ‘Pushing Attention’, with performances from Lady Skollie, Libita Clayton and Nicola Singh. Grand Union serves up BROTH: Soup Exchange, part of the Ways of Learning season, a series of ‘recipes’ and a warm bowl of soup. Check out the Digbeth First Friday guide here.

Gig: The Britanys at The Dark Horse
Sonic Gun once again bring a stunning live lineup to Moseley’s Dark Horse headed up by New York’s The Britany’s, gloriously raw rock and roll that has received glowing praise from such luminaries as NME, an absolute tear up live these guys know how to shred. As if that wasn’t enough three more bands complete an incredible bill, The Americas, The Murder Capital and The Assist.
