Thatcherism: a film presentation by Stephen Farrall at The Victoria
Few political actors have been as rabidly and for the most part as deliberately divisive as the Conservative matriarch Margaret Thatcher, her pitiless destruction of local communities that didn’t fit her social and economic world view still resonates today. The 2015 documentary Generation Right forensically analyses the continuing impact of Thatcherism mixing political review and archive footage. Following the screening Professor Stephen Farrall of The University of Sheffield will host a Q&A session.
