Gig: Pnkslm Records Takeover at The Dark Horse
It’s all getting a bit Swedish in Moseley Wednesday night with Stockholm based record label Pnkslm, and Killer Wave, showcasing two bands. Headlining are Boys, Nora Karlsson’s solo project, new album Rest in Peace has just been released and is a beautiful symphony of pop melancholy. Liverpool garage rockers Beach Skulls complete the bill.

Comedy: Ian Cognito at Patrick Kavanagh
His caustic humour and confrontational attitude have limited Ian Cognito’s exposure to a wider audience, but once experienced his challenging comedy is not easily forgotten. In the cosy Patrick Kavanagh Cognito’s volatile mix of Bill Hicks and Lenny Bruce will take the roof off and possibly strip the paint off the walls.
