As celebrations go there is no doubting the longevity of Birmingham’s oldest boozer and its subsequent need to celebrate. We reckon that six centuries ago it was still one of the funkiest places to drink and had the best entertainment in Digbeth, who could forget DJ Jester and his jangling bells? OK probably everyone, but don’t worry he’s not playing this particular birthday party. Some of Birmingham’s best DJs are though; Tom Shorterz, Jordan Lott, Alex Marconi and Slow Jamz keep the 21st century beats pumping, and party guests should expect prizes, fancy dress, special guests, street art + more. There may even be a cake with 648 candles on, who knows? Probably the coolest beer garden in Birmingham is going to kick off and come alive! Hip hip hooray!
