Seriously funky five piece Trope will be cooking up some serious grooves at the Dark Horse tonight. The Goonies at Birmingham Cathedral 
A free mini outdoor film festival in the auspicious grounds of Birmingham Cathedral with street food, live music, themed fun and more pretty much floats all our boats at once. The space is always a hive of activity and bustling energy anyway but throw in some classic cinematics, live bands and top quality street food, plus a whopping great outdoor screen to light up the hallowed architectural masterpiece and community worship takes on a whole new meaning.

Project Birmingham Takeover The Old Crown
Another week another takeover at the Crown. We could get used to this. This time Project Birmingham have curated an incredible array of music and art to fill your ears, eyes and minds through Saturday evening. Local heroes, and surely soon to be national stars, the inimitable human beat boxing singer songwriter Ed Geater and soulful hometown rapper Lady Sanity headline. Plenty of other music including Moodfix DJ’s as you peruse the photography of Kris Askey and the art of West Art Zine, The Distorted Minds Crew and lots more.
