If You Like Pina Colada’s at The Old Crown
Did someone mention free cocktails? To celebrate National Pina Colada day Birmingham’s oldest boozer The Old Crown is giving away 84 of the delicious rum based cocktails every day until the 10th July. It’s not just cherry topped alcoholic freebies though. On Friday DJ Laura Walford will be keeping the good vibes spinning with DJ Jordan Lott taking over on Saturday afternoon, there’s live music on both days.

Three Step Manoeuvre at The Dark Horse
Birmingham’s own Three Step Manoeuvre have been honing their fine organ driven soul sound for over three years now and if you haven’t already caught them live you’ve been missing a real groovy treat. Their funky rhythms recall legends like Mr Hobo Flats himself Jimmy Smith, James Brown and The Meters. Keep the festival vibe ticking over after all the shenanigans at The Mostly Jazz and Funk’s opening day.

Vintage in the Park at Lightwoods Park 
Make some space in your wardrobes vintage hounds for two days of the finest retro wares across more than twenty stalls over two days at Bearwood’s beautiful Lightwoods Park. It’s not just clothes; there will be vinyl, food, collectibles and even furniture amongst other delights. If all that shopping wears you out enjoy the live music, dancing and entertainment. There is a one pound entrance fee but most of that goes to charity so get digging down the back of the sofa for some loose change.

How does an evening of retro gaming, tasty street food, live music and DJ’s sound? Yes we can’t wait either. Dead Pixels events are a blast and best of all you won’t need a pocketful of change to partake in the gaming. Digbeth Dining Club will be responsible for feeding hungry faces; with wicked beats courtesy of Doktah Jekyll and Squirrel and live art from The Reddson Twins, Powis and Laura Simpson. A free afternoon festival of great live music and feel good vibes at the JQ’s premier venue? Yes please. The Yes Collective to be exact. Three local bands are appearing including indie rockers and recipients of  BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Artist of the week; March 2017, Riscas, retro popsters The Real Cool and garage noise merchants The Lizards.
