Summer has officially departed, leaving colder days, longer nights and the silver lining of some awesome evening events. Kicking things off in fully sensational style, Longbridge Light Festival has put together an unforgettable, unmissable and entirely free show, showcasing a plethora of light-based art installations, music, workshops and guests from all over the world. Our selected highlights include Off The Radar by Bobby Gardner and Anna Schimkat based in the UK and Germany which has choir performances at ten minutes to the hour at every hour, Barcelona’s PLAYmid, the Public Playstation, Magical Moving Trees, Grumpy Cheerleaders and a thought provoking piece by Industry of the Ordinary from the USA. Thrown into the mix is an entertaining range of street food and arts and crafts stalls and of course neon facepainting. With this year’s title The Shadow Factory, before you even step foot into Longbridge, we advise you to head here to design your own Longbridge light festival badge which will be available from the EE store ready to collect during the nights festivities. Wrap up warm and enjoy a night that is sure to be fully illuminating.
