See Birmingham at its most colourful this June 18th at this massive free event in the Custard Factory Gallery space and across 15 Birmingham venues. City of Colours is a street art festival in Birmingham’s cultural heart, bringing together the best and brightest of the West Midland’s creative talents to offer live music and performances, give art demonstrations and provide workshops to spread their footloose and funky artistic passion. This year as well as the spectacular array of graffiti, break dancing, spoken word and circus skills and B-boy battles, the Custard Factory will be hosting the UK’s largest POSCA doodle wall, where the whole family can get involved in the action and set their creative spirit free. As well as learning something new and soaking up the art around you, you can also shop to your heart’s content, browsing dozens of stalls from the likes of TipTop Monster Shop, Mr Wetpaint and Thousand Feet. Or visit one of the award winning pop-up eateries from the Digbeth Dining club and chow down on some of the best street food in Birmingham. Don’t miss this rainbow of activity.
