This display explores the representation of ordinary Birmingham people in art throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Featuring some beautiful paintings, photographs, films and sculpture. Change in the inner city focuses on Nechells, Soho, Ladywood and Aston and how the landscape of these areas has changed remarkably since the Second World War. Anyone from Birmingham or living in the city as it continues to change and evolve, will find this exhibition and its insight into the city fascinating.
