If you go down to the ‘Wood this Saturday, you’re in for a big surprise. Along with the regular Mad as a Hatter monthly market in Abbey Road, there’ll be crafting at the library with Beads and Bobs, handmade jewellery, cakes, and best of all the folk of Bearwood will take to the streets, literally, with stalls outside people’s houses creating a bargain-hunter’s dream of womble-style odds and ends dragged from local cellars, garages and attics and all for sale in the name of charity (The Children’s hospital).
