It’s hard to imagine the gastronomic landscape of Birmingham without those revolutionary street food maestros the Digbeth Dining Club. Week in week out they lay on incredible gourmet fests of the most imaginative and of course most importantly, delicious nosh available in the city. Some have tried to imitate but there’s only one DDC. The only gripe we had was unless you were available on Friday you were stuffed, and not in the good way. Well Friday-phobes worry no more, the DDC have answered your culinary prayers and you will now be able to melt into the dizzying array of grub available on Saturdays too. To celebrate this DDC have arranged a monumental launch weekend with an astonishing twenty individual street food vendors looking to seduce your senses over two days. Expect an array of dismembered vehicles accommodating various items of cooking machinery to delight your eyes as your nose takes in the heady aromas of sizzling specialities on offer. You may need several hours to decide just what you will be cramming into that hungry face of yours but when the atmosphere is as convivial as this you won’t mind one bit. Forks at the ready, go!
