Returning from its quiet winter sojourn, Folk in the Forest is back with its occasional unplugged acoustic sessions in 660 acres of woodland just 5 miles from Birmingham city centre. Mixing up many of life’s best things in one gloriously bohemian sounding hot pot of easygoing, outdoorsy, musical gorgeousness, it’s also very inclusive and absolutely free (donations to cover costs are welcomed). A ridiculously bucolic and atmospheric outdoors setting comes complete with campfires, bubbling stews, brews and hammocks and (very much) unplugged acoustic folk meanderings from local talent. There’s even geotagged musical discoveries at this one, we’re not entirely sure what this is yet, but it sounds like a musical Easter egg hunt, so… Bring an instrument, a blanket or six and welcome the spring in, magical, musical style.
