Explicit nudity and dance, trashy music, roller skating, acrobatics and lust; pop culture can be such a slut. This portrait of a generation from ‘Europe’s most provocative dance duo’ Holzinger & Riebeek is set to push the boundaries of both theatre and good taste to create a night of extreme entertainment. Not content with being one of the main focuses of Festival season in Birmingham and a creative name now popular from Northern Ireland to Brighton, the spectacular Fierce Festival have also slowly been filling our stable, sane and boring lives with their fantastical ideas and events with cutting edge content that somehow manage to scintillate enough to make us leave our cosy everyday confines of ‘normal’ and come running for more. Following the massive success of Artists Behind Bars just before Christmas, Fierce presents: No Applause For Sh1t (Kein Applaus für Schei*e) a boundary breaking show using movement and ‘explicit content’ to paint a no-limits picture of contemporary culture. Come and bear witness.
