It’s time for your monthly culture overload down in Digbeth with a stunning cavalcade of artistic treats with which to fill your brains and top up the senses. Centrala hosts Invasion Night with the screening of a short film examining the Prague Spring of 1968 and its effect on popular Czech culture alongside the recordings of revered singer Marta Kubišová, the event is part of the wider ‘Eastern Bloc Songs: Party, Pop & Politics’ exhibition. Rob Hamp, Andy Spackman and Jay Taylor present ‘in difference’ at Stryx, using painting, sculpture, film and music as an antidote to the anxieties of the modern world.
