King of the political eyebrows Dennis Healey once compared being attacked in parliament by Geoffrey Howe as like “being savaged by a dead sheep”. Well that particular dead sheep was not to be underestimated and much to Margaret Thatcher’s cost she did, the rest of us of course would like to buy Howe a drink for the political chicanery that saw MT forced from office. ‘Dead Sheep’ recounts the story as from the doomed Maggie’s perspective, played wonderfully by Steve Nallon. Relive those halcyon days of unrest, disquiet and misery, and celebrate that they did finally come to an end.
