Looking for an exciting evening a little further from home? Manchester’s Science and Industry Museum hosts a special after-hours night of gaming, live music and unique performances this March.

Once the museum has closed its doors, guests are invited to explore the recently reopened Power Hall: The Andrew Law Gallery, delving into the sights, smells and sounds of the engine-driven ideas that were born in the city.

As part of the late-night programme, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Viola will be performing a spectacular combination of violin and vocals, with Mike Cunningham also joining with bold and colourful LED drumming.

Elsewhere, there’ll be chances to take on your mates in a series of interactive games, including a giant buzz wire and a pedal-powered Scalextric race.

Discover stories from the iconic Band on the Wall and Factory Records, explore why the city earned the title of ‘Cottonopolis’ in the Textiles Gallery, get hands-on with interactive science in Experiment, and enjoy a curated lineup of performers throughout the evening with a drink from the bar.

The Science & Industry Museum opens late – 5th October 2023

Visitors can embrace their inner child with free access to the museum’s brand-new blockbuster exhibition, Horrible Science: Cosmic Chaos, and the venue’s ultimate gaming experience, Power Up, in which you can play your way through five decades’ worth of gaming history.

Power Hall: After Hours comes to the Science and Industry Museum Thu 12 Mar. Book your tickets below.
