The uniquely charming Swingamajig is a festival experience like no other. Smiles, nay huge grins are guaranteed, as happy punters browse underneath the Digbeth Arches sampling a dazzling array of nostalgia infused with 21st century pizzazz. Even Balkan Beat Box’s main stage strop at the 2016 event couldn’t stop us smiling, and the warm fuzzy glow that Swingamajig fostered lasted weeks. It’s that sort of vibe. A rip roaring high mixed with a blissful transcendence, as colourful burlesque and magic may give way to blistering live music or raging electro swing beats, you may even stumble across Lindy Hop dance classes. There really is no better buzz than exploring the delightful nooks and crannies of Swingamajig and seeing what can be discovered. It’s tough picking a highlight when everything is curated to perfection but legendary DJ’s Freestylers are a must see, our old friends Rhino and the Ranters know how to get a party kicking and dark cabaret absurdist Joe Black will blow your minds. Go for a wander it’s all incredible. You’ll find us knocking back gin cocktails in the Cave of Curiosities probably. Come say hello.
