Eccentric lyricists, quirksome live and indie rockers of the highest order. British Sea Power seem to have been around forever, 16 years to be precise. Famed for gigging in some of the most bizarre locations, such as busking on the Great Wall of China or on board The Cutty Sark. I’m afraid you’ll have to make do with The O2 Academy. Possessed of a very English charm British Sea Power should be cherished. Impossible to predict, their last album ’Sea of Brass’ was recorded with several brass bands. March sees the release of a new album, the crowdfunded ‘Let the Dancers Inherit the Party’. Check out new single ‘Bad Bohemian’ for a taster.
