We love Birmingham based promoters This Is Tmrw, not only do they have the cutest logo they continually excel and surprise in bringing an eclectic range of gigs to the city. Next up is the sweet indie pop disco of Boxed In. The brainchild of singer songwriter Oli Bayston, Boxed In have a sweet dreamy sound and sunshine vibe that will pummel your feel good receptors into a bright and happy place. New album ‘Melt’ was released at the dog end of last year and has certainly helped us through a bleak winter with its canvas of catchy melodies and funky rhythms. Play single ‘Jist’ and see just how long you can stand still, with its almost Jacksons like bass and wistful vocals we dance just thinking about it. Imagine if New Order and Postal Service had a funky disco baby, it would sound just like Boxed In. We guarantee you will get the jist of it.
