Since it’s launch in 2001 the Birmingham Comedy Festival has established itself as one of the premier events of its type in the country. Alongside a who’s who of the cream of the comic establishment a plethora of new acts are given the chance to shine, with sixty shows over ten days Brum belly laughs are going to be shaking the Bull Ring to its foundations. The big hitters always sell out quickly so don’t hang about if you fancy the likes of Greg Davies, Matt Lucas, Simon Amstell and Henning Wehn. Best of all there’s a screening of the Laurel and Hardy classic Sons of the Desert at the mac. Let the giggling commence.
