Having fought our way through 2016’s relentless hammering and the limited joys of January, it’s time for a bit of light – if pertinent – comedic relief. Punchy and political Tiffany ‘Tiff’ Stevenson is a familiar face of British comedy, having starred in hit shows like The Office, The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Mock The Week. More recently she’s enjoyed glittering success in BBC Three’s new show People Just Do Nothing, and has two new projects, including one called White Gold coming to the screen this year. In between all that Tiff has still managed to find time to tour her new stand-up show Seven showing at the mac. Aptly named the show was born from a bar conversation between herself, Brody Dalle and Josh Homme (Eagles of Death Metal) after the Bataclan attacks when Tiff was unsure what to tweet and eventually created seven tweets, each one on the subject of a deadly sin. Her show includes Donald Trump as Greed and the treatment of women as Wrath to name a couple, while looking at peoples need to make tragedy all about themselves. Tickets are selling fast.
