Colmore Food Festival is back this July, and organisers Colmore BID have now revealed the full lineup ahead of this year’s culinary celebrations.
Taking over Victoria Square on Fri 4 Jul & Sat 5 Jul, from 11am – 8pm, the free-to-attend festival is set to be packed with vibrant performances, family-friendly activities and accessible workshops.
Alongside 30 food and drink traders, featuring some of Birmingham’s best and most beloved hospitality names, visitors can enjoy live kitchen demonstrations featuring top local chefs, including acclaimed Chef Glynn Purnell, as well as a live recording from Birmingham’s popular Breaking Bread podcast.
For little ones, there will be magician performances, face painting, books and colouring sheets, character meet-and-greets, roaming walkabout acts and accessible hour activities to ensure no one misses out on the fun.
On the main stage, audiences will be treated to the sounds of steel pan performances, Bhangra and Chinese dancing, the Got 2 Sing choir, and performances from Jayme, Sean & Chloe, and Ellie Jones – thanks to Mr and Mrs Grey. There’ll be music away from the stage, too, with Keep Off the Brass serving up high-energy sounds to Victoria Square.
Each day will close with a spectacular performance from Albert’s Schloss, as the venue brings its signature high-end entertainment to the main stage.
“We so excited to bring such a diverse and exciting entertainment offering to the 2025 Colmore Food Festival,” said Kelsey Dwyer, Partnerships and Events Manager at Colmore BID. “Whether you’re here for the food, the music or the family fun, we promise there’s something for everyone to enjoy, absolutely free!”
Organisers promise the ‘largest and most diverse trader selection in the event’s recent years’, as well as price caps on all food and drink items. The entire two days of the festival are completely free to attend, as are all the event’s activities.
