The Haunting | Sat 29 Oct | Rainbow | £30
The Rainbow Venues’ annual Halloween festival is back. If you dare, head to Lower Trinity Street and enter the haunted circus: dance the dance of death to the sounds of headliner Wilkinson’s frenetic drum and bass, pay a visit to witch doctor Lee Walker in the Warehouse and fall under the spell of DJ Haus’s black magic in the Blackbox. Throw on your scariest outfit, grab your crucifix to ward off any evil spirits and venture on in for one of the biggest nights of the year. See our feature here

Ouse: Welcome to the Apocalypse | Fri 28 Oct | Boxxed | £12
Pick your way through the fallout of a cataclysmic explosion into Boxxed, a ragtag new city rising out in the irradiated wastelands of post-apocalyptic Digbeth, pieced together by the survivors of the end of the world. It’s time again for Ouse’s customary Halloween celebration, and this eagerly-awaited installment takes a decidedly darker turn into a world torn apart by nuclear war. If last month’s party is anything to go by, it’s bound to be a good one, so step inside, shut out the world outside – and dance. See our feature here.
