Sum Cellar 2nd Birthday | Sat Apr 22 | LAB11 | £8
It’s Sum Cellar’s second birthday and they’ve got a hell of a lot to celebrate, having transformed from a secret cellar event to a hugely popular party in only a couple of years. Sum Cellar have managed to capture that nostalgic house party vibe, but instead of awkwardly standing around the room as you did in old high school gatherings, the entire crowd moves en mass. They never seem to stop to rest; dancing non-stop all night long and who can blame them? With tunes supplied by a stellar line-up including the up and coming Conducta, who will no doubt combine rough UK Garage bass with deliciously smooth R&B vocals creating some gritty rhythms for the crowd to get down to.
