After getting their start lifting disco and boogie bangers out from the underground and onto their Feel My Bicep blog, Bicep have rapidly become one of the most in-demand producer/DJ duos on the planet. After releasing their Just EP in 2015 to rave reviews, 2016 has seen the pair shed blood, sweat and tears to get to the top of the dance music game. The endlessly adaptable Joy Orbison joins Bicep in the main room as Gilles Peterson takes to the Blackbox for his first Digbeth show since the infamous Custard Factory parties of the early noughties. From ‘Side by Side’ to ‘Mud’ to ‘Topper Top’, this year Sir Spyro has been reaching deep into the grime treasure chest to produce some of the rudest tunes of 2016, whilst also continuing to run his weekly Rinse FM radio show and DJ for fellow Ruff Sqwad emcee Tinchy Stryder.
