S.O.U.P. presents Justin Martin | Sat 9 July | Rainbow | £7
Week five of the Roof Garden gets underway with a Justin Martin headline set. Hailing from sunny San Francisco, Martin first rose to prominence with the upbeat funk simplicity of debut single ‘The Sad Piano’ and later attracted acclaim for the bipolar grit of his ‘Ghettos and Gardens’, expertly alternating between soaring melody and plummeting bass. This Saturday, Martin is joined by Elliot Croft, Scott Bleeps, Official Nancie and a host of other DJs for a night of cocktails, beats and treats. See our feature here.

Perched at the lofty heights of no. 4 in Resident Advisor’s most charted artists of all time, Curly’s distinctive post-minimal, tech-house style served as the blueprint for what became known as the ‘Mannheim sound’.
