What you lot need is an exhaustive lesson in horror film history from two obsessive teenage girls. Step forward Megan and Sophie, masters of the internet and clunky power point presentations. The BFF’s met in year 4 and so began a lifelong love of Tumbler, scary movies and pop icon Debbie Gibson. Of course all is not what it seems and what begins as an innocent, though reverential, exploration of horror icons soon descends into a full on ride through demonic possession featuring live scares, slick multimedia and imaginative singalongs, “If I’m not mistaken, is that Kevin Bacon?” Innovative, unique and a whole lot of frightening fun. Incompetence has never looked so sharp, performers Alexander Joseph and Ro Robertson nail their respective roles with their teenage angst levels becoming palpable as terror takes hold. A word of caution, we cannot vouch for the safety of the audience amidst such horror, you have been warned.
