Here in Birmingham, there are drag acts a-plenty, but have you ever heard of dinner drag? The masterminds at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity have something in the works, and we’re snatched. Think three course meal, some of the best drag acts in Birmingham courtesy of OPULENCE (Hosted by the unforgettable star on the rise Yshee Black), and of course a good old raffle. QEHC present their first ever drag spectacular at The Loft on Hurst Street. For £25 (£22.50 for NHS staff) you can have a ball and also give to a worthy cause. Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity funds equipment, research and training beyond the scope of the NHS, whilst also funding military patients, and aims to make a difference to the lives of patients, visitors and staff at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. The dress code is ‘dress to impress’ so this is an ideal opportunity for you to debut the sequined number that’s a little too showy for a good night out, or that red dress you know is certain to turn heads. And fear not, any dietary requirements can be flagged ahead of time!
