Jacques Brel is one of the most inspiring and enigmatic singers of the twentieth century, his hard living coupled with a singularly unique voice and songwriting style, trawled through a theatrically dark vision of the world that inspired and captivated well beyond the borders of his Belgian home. Tragically dying at the age of 42 in 1978 the iconic image of him, collars up, cigarette perched on his lips lives on. Join a host of musicians celebrating his life and legacy at The Spotted Dog, headed by Andy Wickett of World Service and one time Duran Duran member.
