With the summer on the horizon, it’s carnival time. After last year’s inaugural event, Seedy Sonics return with a colourful fiesta raging across five stages. Reggae and dancehall don David Rodigan is headlining out in the Arena, where the feel-good flavours are sure to be served up with a side of cutting edge bass music and classics caught just off the Caribbean sea. And the diverse mix of artists on display here should satisfy most tastes: Toddla T is also on main stage duties alongside none other than General Levy in all his dreadlocked glory, best known for jungle standard ‘Incredible’, and bassline selectors Royal-T and Champion will be at hand to deliver the heavy vibes.
