Fortnightly student rave Tektu is back to lure fresh-faced revellers away from the bright lights of Broad Street and into the underground underworld of Digbeth, tempted by tales of house and techno treats. With this, their first event of the academic year, Tektu are stepping up their game in attempts to outdo the phenomenal success of their 2016 freshers party. Promising themed rooms, extravagant stage production and a multi-genre music policy playing everything from trap to disco to garage (billed as “all things wavey”), this is a party that is bound to sell out weeks in advance. Come along and sample the wares – once you’ve had a taste of what the city’s creative quarter has to offer, there’s no going back…
