Before brostep, before Skrillex, before the post-dubstep stylings of James Blake, there was good old-fashioned dubstep – and there was Skream. From the moment the doors of the Rainbow open at 10pm up until their 6am close, the dubstep pioneer himself will be at the decks in the Blackbox, taking two-stepping clubbers on a wobbly journey through garage, house and helpings of half-time hedonism. Also set to perform is Route 94, who has kept as low a profile as the frequencies in his productions, preferring instead to let his music do the talking; and master craftsman Doorly, famed for his boundlessly creative live sets, where genres as diverse as electro and techno are brought together to create a completely unique sonic experience. Arun Verone, Rothstein Music, Paradox City and more co-star.
