Barely Legal, aka Chloe Robinson, is a 23 year old DJ based in London who plays what she calls ‘gun-finger music’ – everything from drum and bass to grime to hip hop. Inheriting her garage-obsessed mother’s love of electronic music, you could almost say that UK bass music is in Robinson’s blood, and at the age of nineteen she made the momentous decision to pick up her first set of turntables. That was in 2011; fast-forward five years and the artist known as Barely Legal has just got back off a massive Australasian tour, capping off a summer of sterling sets at Parklife, Lovebox, the Warehouse Project and more. Promising copious amounts of confetti and incredible production, PARTY welcome this rising talent into Broad Street superclub Pryzm for a huge night spanning three rooms of funk, grime and more.
