A globetrotting musical cabaret journey through the history of the world’s favourite tipple that takes in Australia, Peru, New York and of course 18th Century London. Performed by Australian’s Maeve Marsden and Libby Wood, Mother’s Ruin is a vaudevillian riot through one hour of the highs and lows of gin with music, jokes and laced with sledgehammer antipodean wit. There is a scintillating knockabout chemistry between Marsden and Wood, whether regaling the audience with thrilling stories of bootlegging or belting out songs with unbridled sassiness.  A perfectly distilled confection of cabaret, wit and alcohol. ‘Our gin who art in heaven’. Indeed.
