A Hindu festival of light, love and colour will be painting the town technicolour on Saturday with its explosion of colourful music, dance and tasty treats. With daytime and evening sessions running from 2pm – 6pm then 6pm – 10pm, this year’s event invites all the family to take part in the festivities with the arches transformed to create a fantastical festival atmosphere complete with top DJ’s on the sound system, live music and dhol drummers, Bollywood dancers, free face-painting workshops, glitter-bombs, henna tattoo artists and fancy dress. Food also features large with street-food favourites Taste and Liquor creating a mini-Indian street-food bazaar, celebrating Mumbai street food favourites all served with a selection of Indian beers. 1st/2nd and 3rd release tickets have sold out fast and the event had to postponed from its original date so anticipate an enthusiastic turnout for this colourful event.
