The eclectic techno space beat pioneers Eat Static rose from the pulsing alien heart of psychedelic festival prog rockers Ozric Tentacles in 1989. Instantly bringing a tripped out sensibility to dance music, flitting between its genre’s like a disorientated dreadlocked moth crashing relentlessly into a flickering strobe. Impossible to pigeonhole their experimentation with beats, timing and form has always traduced expectations and set them apart from their peers. A purely solo effort since Joie Hinton left in 2008, Merv Pepler carries the whole alien inspired trance UFO juggernaut forwards. Eat Static are headlining SubAqua at Suki10c alongside Junglbeavr, Ian-E and Indigo Herder. Tin foil helmets at the ready and settle yourselves in for an all night session of trippy visuals and spaced out beats. The truth is out there.
