It’s DJ EZ – say no more. Okay, for the sake of this write-up, EZ is one of the most revered selectors on the planet. His lightning-quick, relentlessly creative mixing and on-point song selection have made him arguably the UK garage and bassline DJ. Put simply, he’s a behemoth, and he also once performed a 24-hour set for charity, proving his philanthropy as well as his stamina. Is there anything the man can’t do? Well, he probably wouldn’t be much good at sound-tracking a wedding (we reckon this is a good thing) – EZ’s sets are frequently fast-paced and frenetically metamorphosing, sounding much like a series of iTunes previews welded together by a master craftsman. And if you’re really into your music, a DJ of EZ’s stature is bound to have a fair few unreleased refixes and remixes in his arsenal, just enough to keep things suitably spicy. When it comes to EZ, you’d better believe the hype.
