The gloriously kitsch, wild, weird and wonderful Icelandic songstress Hafdis Huld returns to the Kitchen Garden Café for a rare UK show this summer, alongside long-time musical collaborator Alisdair Wright. A perfect performer for the intimate surrounds of the KGC, Huld will no doubt spin webs of quirky musical magic out into the Summer night and hang her catchy hooks full of Icelandic charm and pure-pop sensibilities with typical grace and humour throughout the ever-so apt wooden and semi-wild confines. Huld’s sounds have been much lauded by musical drum-bangers such as Mark Radcliffe and Lauren Laverne and as this is one of the only a couple of gigs she will play in the UK this time around, grab your tickets with plenty of time to spare…
