The band formerly known as The First Presleyterian Church of Elvis the Divine (UK) bring their refined chemical country sound to Birmingham in November to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The producers of possibly the most iconic opening theme to any TV show ever in ‘Woke Up This Morning’ from The Sopranos; we challenge you to not feel like Tony Soprano when driving with that song on the stereo, it’s impossible. Alabama 3 have made something of a forte providing music for TV, films and even games, which should not detract from their incredibly strong back catalogue. The Brixton band have been busy for two decades and show no signs of slowing down and why should they when the quality of their music remains so high. They still ain’t gone to Goa!
