Jamie Jones and the Martinez Brothers entertain at part one of DJ Mag’s extended quarter century birthday celebrations. Hot Creations label boss and purported leader of the new school Jamie Jones has been credited with breathing new, melodic life into minimal techno, his 2011 remix of Azari and III’s ‘Hungry for the Power’ taking Ibiza and beyond by storm. The Martinez Brothers hail from the Bronx, New York City and have in recent years emerged onto the global house scene in a big way with a series of dance floor-ready remixes and original cuts, notably their groove-laden take on Green Velvet’s ‘Bigger Than Prince’. Joining these two huge names at the decks is techno heavyweight Chris Liebing, who performs alongside Alex Arnout, Clive Henry and more.
