Bassline queen Flava D brings her uniquely grimey brand of garage to the Roof Garden as part of S.O.U.P. and 02.31’s weekly series of summer parties. The artist born as Danielle Gooding started out producing grime instrumentals before being noticed by genre pioneer Wiley, joining his Eskibeat collective and becoming part of his super production group A-List. Years later and Flava D has signed to independent London record label Butterz, released her debut solo record ‘Hold On’, and continues to tear up the club circuit with her electrifying DJ sets. A producer first and foremost, expect to hear many of her own original productions this Saturday, from club banger ‘In the Dance’ to Royal-T collab ‘On My Mind’. Also performing is leading UK Funky collective Crazy Cousins and long-time Rainbow resident Tom Shorterz.
