An almost ubiquitous feature on the glut of comedy TV panel shows that fill the schedules these days, his seemingly unpredictable and eccentric presence can actually make some of them worth watching. Appearing, as if by a trick of time, to inhabit the wrong decade, possibly even the wrong century, his charming befuddlement at the world hides a keen and sharp satirical mind. Did you know Foot has a mathematics degree from Oxford? Dubbed a comedy genius by several critical sources, there is no denying his unique talent sets him apart from his peers. If you’ve been unable to procure an invite to one of the secret gigs or subversive tea parties arranged by him for his fans, or connoisseurs as he calls them, then luckily for you he is appearing at the Glee Club.
