Clay must love it in Birmingham. After an uproarious headline show at The Sunflower Lounge in August they’re back again this week. Their infectious guitar driven indie pop disco has seen them compared to everyone from the Charlatans to Blur, we can definitely hear the Blossoms in there too. New single 6AM is a honey coated pop anthem with a dark underbelly, the video for the song features singer Joe Harvey vomiting and urinating, that traducing of expectation is what makes these boys special. This might be your last chance to get up close and sweaty with a band that are clearly going places. Support comes from local groovesters Ivory Wave, Cotter and The Real Cool.
