Ahead of its sixth edition, The British Restaurant Awards has unveiled its final shortlists across several food and drink categories.

Along with the nationwide nominations, a dedicated ten-name Best Birmingham Restaurant category has also been revealed ahead of final winners being revealed on Wed 28 Aug at the Crown London Hotel.

Included in the Best Restaurant in Birmingham shortlist are Simpsons, The Wilderness, Purnell’s and Tropea, the latter of which was also just named in the Good Food Guide’s Top 100 Local Restaurants.

Also featured are Land, Sabai Sabai, Orelle, Qavali, Zindiya Streatery and Bar and Harborne Kitchen.

Stirchley’s recently opened Riverine Rabbit was also named in the overall Best New Restaurant category. The venue merges the team’s South African roots with seasonal British produce, and was named in the Michelin Guide within its first four months.

Voting across each category is open now until Mon 26 Aug. For more information, or to cast your vote, click here.
