Artists and companies from across the UK will take over several of the city’s theatres this month as Birmingham Fest returns.
The packed programme, which runs between Wed 10 Jul – Sun 28 Jul, will feature dozens of shows spanning all areas of performing arts.
This year’s venues include The Blue Orange Theatre, The Crescent Theatre, The Old Joint Stock Theatre and the brand-new Birmingham Black Box.
The festival also provides a platform for a range of exciting new work and writing, with many artists using the event as an opportunity to showcase material before heading up to Edinburgh’s famous Fringe. That, and as a much more affordable alternative.
It also aims to introduce both companies and patrons to some of the city’s fantastic venues that they might not yet be familiar with.
