Comic fans and the creatively costume-clad will be brightening up the streets of Birmingham once again as the annual Comic Festival returns to suitably super-sized location of Edgbaston Stadium this year. With the capacity to cater to over 2,000 visitors and early bird tickets already sold out, the event promises to be a monster hit. Guests from all over the comic book world include special guests and publishers from across Europe and the USA. Over 100 exhibitors are expected with everything from rare books and original artwork to panel discussions and interviews with star guests and creators, gaming, quizzes and guest ‘appearances’ from the likes of the Jurassic Park Jeep, Thor’s Hammer and the Mad Max Interceptor. Colourful fun-seekers, kids big and small, Cosplayers, geeks, freaks and fans, form a (dis)orderly queue…
