If you haven’t yet visited the beautiful house and gardens of Bantock House then this is the perfect opportunity. The stunning setting is playing host to a brand new one-day acoustic music festival, Banstock. Featuring Wolverhampton’s own Novello award winning folk rocker Scott Matthews in a rare home town headline slot. Birmingham’s long time skiffle geezers Terry & Gerry will also appear. We first saw these boys at The Triangle Arts Centre about 30 years ago, their longevity is legendary. The other confirmed act is Alex Ohm, formerly of Wolves indie rockers The Lines, presenting his new solo project. More acts are promised and if the sun is kind it’s a lovely place to spend a day chilling to cool music.

Line up: Doors 3pm, Sharodene 4pm – 4.25pm, Gary O’Dea 4.35pm – 5pm, Saltflat 5.15pm – 5.40pm, Ryan Evans 5.55pm – 6.20pm, Under A Banner 6.40pm – 7.10pm, Alex Ohm 7.25pm – 7.55pm, Terry & Gerry 8.10pm – 8.45pm, Scott Matthews 9pm – 10pm.
